Becks' decision to give 3.3m pounds paycheque to charity was Posh's idea

London, Feb. 3 (ANI): David Beckham, who gave his 3.3-million-pound football wages from Paris Saint-Germain to a children's charity, did so on his wife Victoria's suggestion, it has been revealed.

According to a source close to David, Victoria thought that giving money to a good cause would be a brilliant and a kind thing to do, the Mirror reported.

The source said that the couple don't need the cash, as they have plenty already, but they do like helping others.

"Victoria knows David loves playing football, he has never been doing it for the money. And he has always been keen on helping youngsters who are having a tough time. So when she mentioned it, he thought it was a great plan," the source said.

The source added that the couple then told their management, who agreed that it was a lovely, selfless thing for the footie ace to do. (ANI)
