London, Feb 3 (ANI): Beckham's appeal has given a huge boost to London tourism, as holidaymakers flock to the places where David, Victoria and their kids have been spotted since they moved back to Blighty.
The 37-year-old footballer, who was snapped having a pint with pal Jamie Redknapp in a Kensington pub, has sent searches for hotels in the area soaring by more than 300 per cent, the Sun reported.
Meanwhile, Victoria's house hunting in Richmond pushed demand for stays in the borough by 150 per cent.
Searches to Notting Hill rose by 120 per cent following a trip to a fish and chip shop there by Victoria and her youngest son Cruz.
According to Laura Watts of Hotels.com, the adoration that the British public have for the Beckham family and their desire to emulate their lifestyle has given a fantastic boost to several London locations that have received high profile visits from the famous family in recent weeks.
They also said that it would be interesting to see if this trend continues should they decide to settle there long term. (ANI)
