Calcutta (The Telegraph): The Board of Control for Cricket in India is likely to ask national coach Duncan Fletcher to submit a report on India’s twin Test series debacles in England and Australia after former India captain Anil Kumble raised the issue at the Working Committee meeting, in Chennai, on Saturday.
“Kumble raised the issue and asked at the meeting what steps are being taken and if the matter was discussed with Fletcher,” a senior BCCI official said.

“Kumble was told that Fletcher is back home for a break before the long season kicks off... Once he is back from the break, the BCCI will ask him to submit a detailed report and the necessary corrective measures that need to be taken,” the official said.
Kumble, a former India captain, is also the president of the Karnataka State Cricket Association.
The report once submitted is likely to be taken up for discussion by the committee at its next meeting.
