Sri Lanka are all set to face Bangladesh in the third and final One-Day International (ODI) of the three-match series on Friday. The match unlike the earlier two matches will be played at the Sinhalese Sports Club Stadium, which will host an ODI after 2011. The live cricket streaming of the third ODI between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be available in India on SONY LIV, while the live telecast of the match will be available on Ten 1 HD and Ten 3. As for the live telecast in other countries, it will be as follows: BTV in Bangladesh, PTV Sports in Pakistan, OSN Sports in Middle-East and Willow TV in USA. The second ODI was wash out after batting first, the home side put on a mammoth 312-run target for the visitors when rains came spurting in at Dambulla. There were two main highlights of the match; firstly Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis recorded his first-ever ODI ton, while Bangladesh’s Taskin Ahmed achieved his first-ever hat-trick. He also became the fifth Bangladesh bowler to achieve such a feat. It was dampener that one could not witness and exciting contest.
The first ODI was won convincingly by Bangladesh, where the visitors asked Sri Lanka to chase down 325 runs to win. Sri Lanka suffered a collapse that saw them bundle out for 234 runs, losing the game by 90 runs. The match belonged to Bangladesh opener Tamin Iqbal, who cracked his eighth ODI ton in the process.
