Bale ordered to come back to training after 'world-record' transfer fails to materialize

London, Aug 27 (ANI): Tottenham striker Gareth Bale has been ordered to come back to training after the world's most expensive transfer could not materialize.

According to the Mirror, Bale was expecting to seal his dream transfer to the Bernabeu on Tuesday but instead of being presented to the world's media in Madrid, he is now being made to sweat and work hard.

Tottenham also claim to have got a counter-bid from a mystery rival but Bale, who scored 26 goals for Spurs last season, still expects to join Real, the report said.

Later, Manchester United manager David Moyes denied the champions had made the late offer, the report added. (ANI)
