Arsene Wenger says he can persuade Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas to return to 'club he loves'

London, Jan. 13 (ANI): Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said he can persuade Cesc Fabregas to come back from Barcelona and rejoin them, because his former star midfielder "really loves this club".

Wenger, who is clearly still hurt by Fabregas's departure in the summer of 2011, when his 35 million pounds transfer to his boyhood team coined Arsenal's reputation as a selling club, he said that Fabregas was an exception, a world-class player, the Telegraph reports.

According to the report, a dramatic Fabregas return to the Emirates is unlikely to happen in the immediate future, given the 25 year-old's flourishing into one of La Liga's most dynamic attacking midfielders under coach Tito Vilanova. (ANI)
