Arsenal's Giroud says took time to 'settle down' in Premier League

London, June 13 (ANI): Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has said that it had taken him time to settle in the Premier League club.

However, the Frenchman, who cost Arsenal 13 million pounds from Montpellier last summer, managed finished the season with 17 goals, The Sun reports.

Admitting that he had taken time to settle down, Giroud hoped that in his second season with the Gunners, he can play week-in and week-out.

Meanwhile, Giroud also said that he is confident that Arsenal, who finished fourth in the Premier League despite a slow start last season, can compete for the title because they are used to playing together now, if they have a good start.

Giroud further said that he felt that they have improved as individuals, especially newcomers like himself, Santi Cazorla and Lukas Podolski. (ANI)
