Apple files patent for 3D gesture controlled iOS

Washington, Aug. 22 (ANI): Tech giant Apple has reportedly filed a patent for an advanced version of its operating software which can allow users to design 3D objects.

The patent published by the US Patent and Trademark Office suggests that by pinching and using other common gestures, users could manipulate a 2D object onscreen into a 3D object.

According to Fox News, with the tweaked version, the user can generate and manipulate 3D objects using 3D inputs, or more simply, one can design 3D objects more easily on the iPad than before. (ANI)
