New Delhi: He is a great competitor on the field and Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir has revealed that there is nothing wrong in even abusing on the field, as long as it is not personal. In fact, he laughs and adds that indeed Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli and he bear testimony to the fact that Delhi people abuse more than others.
Gambhir goes on to say that it comes naturally to the people of Delhi and that is the culture in the Capital and the way people are brought up in the city. He also hints at the competitive edge in the people. But he also warns that verbal volleys should not be taken off the field.

In fact, in a candid chat, Gambhir also says that he is not as serious off the field and the intense look is his game face and his teammates know that he is much more chilled out of the field.
Just like Kohli had said in an interview with Glenn Maxwell during Indiaâs last tour to Australia, Gambhir revealed in this interview that growing up in Delhi, the first thing the KKR skipper learnt was to be competitive. He says that it has always been about performing or perishing in Delhi cricket.
On the personal front, Gambhir says that whenever he is not busy playing, he loves to spend time with his daughter. He says that he misses spending time with her the most when he is busy playing. He says it is a stress-buster for him to spend time with his daughter.
