Mumbai, Feb 13 (IANS) Actress Amrita Puri, who debuted with "Aisha", is happy the way her career is progressing -- so far going upward.
Amrita told IANS: "In this competitive world, there is a space for everyone. I am extremely happy the way my career has shaped up. From the movie 'Aisha' to a solo project 'Bloody Money' and now in 'Kai Po Che!', in which I am the only actress with three leading men. My journey has been going upward so far. I am very satisfied and happy right now."
"Kai Po Che!" is a celluloid interpretation of Chetan Bhagat's bestseller "The 3 Mistakes of My Life" and the actress says she read the book only after reading the script.
"It was a wonderful story," said the 29-year-old who is not part of the extensive promotion of the Abhishek Kapoor-directed film, which is being premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival Wednesday.
But Amrita says that she is playing an important role. "The story is about three boys and I am playing an integral part. The film has a romantic angle, which will take ahead the story," she added.
Amrita's co-stars in the film are Sushant Singh Rajput, Raj Kumar Yadav and Amit Sadh. It is slated for release Feb 22.
