New York, Jan 22 (ANI): Miss Alabama Katherine Webb, who shot to fame after an ESPN commentator raved over her beauty, is set to star in a reality show.
Webb, who is dating University of Alabama quarterback AJ McCarron, had been keeping a low profile since Brent Musburger caused a stir by effusively lauding her beauty during the BCS National Championship Game.
According to TMZ.com, Webb is slated to star in ABC's upcoming new reality show 'Celebrity Diving', the New York Daily News reported.
The beauty queen became somewhat of a household name earlier this month when her relationship with McCarron was made public.
During the BCS National Championship Game, 73-year-old ESPN commentator Brent Musburger raved about the beautiful brunette, at one point saying, "You see that lovely lady there. She does go to Auburn, but she's also Miss Alabama. And that's AJ McCarron's girlfriend. You quarterbacks, you get all the good-looking women. What a beautiful woman. Wow."
Webb has tried to remain out of the public eye since then after reports suggested McCarron was upset that their relationship was getting more attention than his University of Alabama team, which went on to destroy Notre Dame, 42-14.
Producers have also cast former 'Baywatch' star Nicole Eggert, 'Girls Next Door' star Kendra Wilkinson and the stunning Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played Rudy on 'The Cosby Show.'
Starring alongside the girls will be a bevy of men, including former basketball pro Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, stand-up comedian Louie Anderson and actor Drake Bell. (ANI)
