The FIFA World Cup is around the corner and while many people hope players like Wayne Rooney and Lionel Messi contribute for their country some young players also look like they are worth watching. Scouts from all over the world will watch these young players in action and it won’t be long before they play for some of the biggest clubs in the world. Here is a list of five young players who promise to deliver world class football in Brazil:
Julian Draxler could be the next star from Germany
Julian Draxler- Germany has a history of producing some of the best players in world football and Julian Draxler is the latest to roll off the never ending production line. The 20-year-old scored on his debut for the Under-21′s against Cyprus and has not looked back since then. He is an integral part of Schalke 04 and has attracted the attention of several Premier League clubs, with the player himself stating that he dreams of playing for one of England’s big teams. The German international scored an excellent goal against the United States and will surely find the back of the net i Brazil. Draxler could have the same impact for Germany as Thomas Muller had when he was part Germany’s 2010 World Cup squad in South Africa.
Lukaku is one youngster to look out for
Romelu Lukaku- Belgium seems to have a knack of producing some of footballs finest talent. Romelu Lukaku can vouch for that. The 20-year-old Chelsea player who is on loan at Everton has been excellent for his temporary club so far. He has scored against big teams like Manchester City and Newcastle United and is the only youngster to score against both Manchester clubs when he found the back of the net against United when he was a loanee at West Bromwich Albion last season. The Belgian international scored both goals in the World Cup qualifier against Crotia and booked his country a place in Brazil in the process. Lukaku is sure to fire more goals in the 2014 competition and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will surely give him a first team spot at Stamford Bridge next season.
Wilshere is a valuable asset for England
Jack Wilshere- The Arsenal man who has been described as the ‘shining light of English football’ will surely justify that title on the world stage next year. Wilshere is known for his Spanish style of play which has attracted praise from many managers and pundits. Th 21-year-old recently scored a stunner against Norwich and will be a big boost to the Three Lions during the World Cup. The youngster has an excellent dribbling ability and will give defenders a headache in the World Cup. The England international has not scored for his country so far but will surely change that in Brazil.
Isco the next Spanish superstar?
Isco- The Spaniard made an instant impact for Real Madrid scoring 4 goals in 9 appearances since signing this summer. His incredible performance for the Los Blancos earned him a call up to the national team against Chile Isco was unable to appear due to an injury. If the 21-year old continues his strong form at the Bernabeu he will surely be on the plane to Brazil. Isco is known for his appetite for goals and there is a strong chance that he will score for La Roja in 2014.
Neymar is destined to shine in the World Cup hosted by his country
Neymar- A name that will surely light up Brazil in 2014 in Neymar. The Barcelona striker has been rightly compared to Pele and will do his upmost to please his countyman in the World Cup next year. With 27 goals in 44 appearances Neymar is a favorite for the World Cup Golden Ball in the competition. The 21-year-old fired four goals for his country in this years Confederations Cup and is hell bent on scoring again in footballs most prestigious tournament. The former Santos man will definitely be a legend for his country and will do his best to honor Brasil’s famous No.10 shirt.
