Washington, Dec. 28 (ANI): President Barack Obama looks primed to do a 'better job' in his second term than he did in his first term, a plurality of Americans has said.
According to the CNN/ORC poll, 46 percent of Americans think the president's job performance will improve this time around, as compared to 22 percent who said that Obama will do a worse job.
Just over three in 10 see Obama offering "about the same" performance as he did during his first administration, Politico reports.
Those figures broke down along party lines: 43 percent of Republicans said the president's performance would be worse in the coming administration, while "more than eight in ten Democrats" said he would improve.
The poll found that another 40 percent of independents also thought Obama would do better, while a third said he would stay about the same.
Half of Republicans surveyed also said Obama's performance wouldn't change much, the report added. (ANI)
