One of the smaller cricket grounds in Sri Lanka, the Colombo Cricket Club Ground (CCC) Colombo has hosted three Test matches between 1984 and 1987. Though international cricket is no longer played at the CCC, it is a popular ground for domestic games and also hosts the foreign teams in warm up games. The ground remains special for having hosted an MCC team led by none other than the great Douglas Jardine in 1932. The venue is clustered around Maitland Place. It is a multi-use stadium and has a capacity to hold 14000 people. It hosted its maiden first-class match was in 1927 and in 1934 hosted an MCC side led by Douglas Jardine. The venue doesn't have floodlights facility and the two ends are named Press Box and Pavilion Ends.
