MS Dhoni and
R Jadeja added 112 runs for the sixth wicket in this game providing the 312th
occasion of Indian batsmen posting a century partnership in one day games. This
stand also provides the 19th occasion of Indian batsmen posting a three figure
partnership in one day games.

 

MS Dhoni and
R Jadeja added 112 runs for the sixth wicket in this game providing the 172nd
occasion of batsmen posting a century partnership against England in one
day games. This stand also provides the 11th occasion of batsmen posting a
three figure partnership against England in one day games.

 

MS Dhoni and

MS Dhoni is
set to achieve a unique record in cricket history. At the end of this game he
has pouched 99 catches. One more catch would give him 100 catches. He has
already pouched 100 catches in tests - 104. 
Thus he is set to become the only captain the history of game to pouch
100 catches in both version of the game - tests and one dayers.

 

JM Anderson
with his three wickets in this game took his tally of wickets against India to 32. He
became the second England
bowler to capture 30 plus wickets against India, after A Flintoff who has
captured 37 wickets.

 

MS Dhoni's
69 in this game represent his fourth fifty against England as a wicket keeper batsman.

With four

He went past R Dravid who had scored three fifties - 73* at Lord's on 29.06.02,
82 at Chester-le-Street on 04.07.02 and 62 at Durban on 26.02.03

 

MS Dhoni
became the fourth wicket keeper batsman to score 600 plus runs against England. He
reached the milestone when he was on 29 during the course of his knock of 69 in
this game. At the end of this game, his run aggregate stood at 640. The other
three wicket keepers are - AC Gilchrist {1001}, KC Sangakkara {704} and A
Flower {691}

 

R Dravid was
run out for 2 in this game providing the fourth occasion of his being dismissed
run out against England.
The other three occasions are - for 32 at Indore
on 15.04.06, for 36 at Lord's on 08.09.07 and for 1 at Indore on 17.11.08

 

IR Bell now
shares the record for an England
batsman who has been dismissed run out on most occasions against India. PD
Collingwood and AJ Lamb are the other two England batsmen who have been
dismissed run out on four occasions against India

IR Bell was
run out for 23 in this game providing the fourth occasion of his being dismissed
run out against India.
The other three occasions are - for 63 at Sharjah on 11.04.99, for 5 at Faridabad on 31.03.06 and for 24 at Leeds
on 02.09.07.

 

R Dravid now
shares the record for an Indian batsman who has been dismissed run out on most
occasions against England.
RJ Shastri and Zaheer Khan are the other two Indian batsmen who have been
dismissed run out on four occasions against England

 

R Dravid was
dismissed run out for 2 in this game providing the 40th occasion of
his being dismissed run out in one day games. He became the third batsman in
the annals of one day games to be dismissed run out on 40 plus occasions. Others
are - MS Atapattu {41} and Inzamam-ul-Haq {40}

 

R Dravid
needs one more run out dismissal to the record for most run outs in one day
games to share the record jointly with MS Atapattu who has been dismissed run
out on 41 occasions. R Dravid's 40 run out dismissals are listed below

 

MS Dhoni
scored 69 in the this game provided his 25th half century while
leading India.
He became the eleventh captain in the annals of one day games to score 25 plus half
centuries 

 

It is
interesting to note that this list comprises of four Indian captains who have
scored 25 or half centuries - M Azharuddin {37}, SC Ganguly {30}, R Dravid {25}
and the new entrant MS Dhoni {25}

 

This game
was JM Anderson's 150th appearance in one day games. He became the
fourth England
cricketer to appear in 150 plus one day games. Others are - PD Collingwood
{197}, AJ Stewert {170} and D Gough {158}. He also became the 108th
cricketer to represent a country in 150 plus one day games

 

MS Dhoni
{69} and C Kieswetter {51} scored fifties in this game providing the 47th
occasion of rival wicket keepers scoring fifty in one day games
