Sri Lanka vs Australia: 3rd ODI, Hambantota

- WU Tharanaga registered his 12th One-day hundred when he scored 111 in this game. He now stands third in the list of Sri Lankan batsmen who have scored most centuries in One-day games. ST Jayasuriya {28} and DPMD Jayarwardene {14} are the other two batsmen who have scored more hundreds than WU Tharanga. WU Tharanga went past MS Atapattu {12}, PA de Silva {11} and KC Sangakkara {11} who have scored eleven hundreds. TM Dilshan is the other Sri Lankan batsman who has scored ten One-day hundreds.

 

- WU Tharanga became the 14th opening batsman in the annals of One-day game to score 12 or more hundreds. He is the second Sri Lankan batsman after ST Jayasuriya {28} to achieve the feat.
