The other teams to score nine ore more wickets win on two occasions in a single edition are – Chennai in 2008, Delhi in 2008, Mumbai in 2008, Delhi in 2009 and Bangalore in 2010.

Bangalore's nine wickets win over Kochi at Bangalore on 08.05.11 gave it a record for most nine or more wickets win in IPL. It was the fifth such win for Bangalore and went past Delhi who had achieved four wins by nine or more wickets margin in IPL.

Kolkata and Jaipur are the two teams to suffer nine or more wicket defeats in IPL as at the end of this game. Bangalore is the only team to win two games by nine or more wickets margin against Jaipur in IPL – by ten wickets at Bangalore on 10.03.10 and by nine wickets at Jaipur on 11.05.11.
