IPL 2011: Match No 25: Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings

SK Raina and S Badrinath became the most capped IPL cricketers. They were playing their 51st IPL game.

RG Sharma became the fifth cricketer to play 50 plus IPL games. This game was his 50th game. Others are – SK Raina {51} : S Badrinath {51} : AC Gilchrist {50} and V Kohli {50}.

RG Sharma celebrated his 50th appearance in IPL by registering a fifty – 87 – in this game. His 87 in this game represents his ninth fifty in IPL. He became the seventh  
batsman to score nine or more fifties in IPL. Others are – JH Kallis {13} : SR Tendulkar {10} : SK Raina {10} : SE Marsh {09} : G Gambhir {09} and AC Gilchrist {09}.
 

RG Sharma took his IPL aggregate to 1304 with his 87 in this game. He became the fifth batsman in IPL to total 1300 plus runs. Others are – SK Raina {1492}: SR Tendulkar {1411}: JH Kallis {1365} and AC Gilchrist {1329}.

JA Morkel with his lone wicket in this game took his aggregate of T20 wickets to 117. He now occupies the second place amongst the bowlers who have taken most wickets in T20 games. DP Nannes with 134 wickets occupies the first place. JA Morkel went past AC Thomas who has an aggregate of 116 wickets on his way to second place.
