• The match was curtailed to 17.0 overs a side due to the overnight rain and soggy condition of the outfield. Put into bat, Mysore Maharaajas totalled 130 for 6, thanks to the contributions of HT Sudhir Rao {41} and Nitin Bille {39}.

Mysore lost its first wicket with just one run the board, but its innings was propped up by a 53 run partnership for the second wicket between HT Sudhir Rao and N Bille.

Mysore could not pace the innings and stroke freely as they wanted to, may be due to slowness of outfield which was damp.

HT Sudhir Rao's 41 came in 32 deliveries with five fours. N Bille hit four fours and a six in his 39, which came in 35 deliveries.

A Jagan {2 for 41} and AU Shetty {2 for 11} shone with the leather for Provident.

Provident had a comfortable start with reliable openers MK Manjunath and VST Naidu adding 49 runs for the first wicket.

They lost two quick wickets in the space of seven runs, but found a batsmen in Amit Verma who was willing to stay at the crease.
