    Virat Kohli completed 1,000 runs in 2011 when he
    was on 95 during his knock of 112 not out in the Delhi ODI against England.

    scored a duck in this game to provide the 24th occasion of an England opener
    captain scoring a duck. It was the first duck for AN Cook in the dual role of a
    captain-cum-opener.

     

    AN Cook
    became the second England
    opener captain to score a duck against India after MA Atherton. MA
    Atherton had failed to open his innings against India
    at Manchester
    on 26.05.96.

     

    C Kieswetter
    scored a duck in this game to provide the 16th occasion of an England opener
    wicket keeper scoring a duck.

     

    C Kieswetter
    became the second England
    opener wicket keeper to score a duck against India after MJ Prior. MJ Prior had
    scored a duck against India
    at Lord's on 08.09.07.

     

    It was the
    third duck for C Kieswetter as in the dual role of opening batsman and wicket
