DD Bio

The franchise of Delhi Daredevils is owned by the renowned GMR group. Despite the presence of senior players from various countries, the team failed to make it big in any of the previous editions. They reached their lowest ebb in the fourth season, when the entire team was re-shuffled and new players arrived, with Virender Sehwag and David Warner as the only experienced players. As a result, the side finished at the bottom of the table, with nothing much to its credit.

However, with the inclusion of stalwarts like Mahela Jayawardena and Kevin Pietersen, the Daredevils will only hope for a change of fortunes as they gear up for the fifth edition in 2012.
