YOR Bio

The Yorkshire County Cricket Club was founded in 1863 and is one of the 18 major county clubs in the English and Welsh domestic cricket structure. With 31 County Championship titles, Yorkshire is one of the most successful teams in English cricketing history. They play their home games at the Headingley Carnegie Cricket Ground. In 2012, Yorkshire were beaten by Hampshire in the finals of their domestic Twenty20 competition by 10 runs. As runners up, they made their way to that year’s Champions League T20 in South Africa.
