Team India returns after WC T20 ouster
Team India returned home on Wednesday after an unsuccessful title bid at the ICC World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka. The team lost out on a semi-final berth owing to an ordinary run in the Super Eights series of the tournament. The team's performance drew flak from former players, who laid the blame on captain Dhoni's experimentation with the playing eleven. Former coach of India batsman Virender Sehwag, A. N. Sharma, said that batting-heavy side fell heavily short in the bowling department. Members of the team India, including captain Mahender Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina were seen at the Indira Gandhi International Airport, where they were quietly whisked away in waiting vehicles.
