People who have seen this attacking middle order batsman from Maharashtra, termed him as a 'natural T20 player'. Initially a part of the Bangalore development squad, Kedar Jadhav was drafted in by Delhi in 2010. He attracted public attention for his stunning 29-ball 50 for Delhi against Bangalore on his Indian T20 League debut. His unique style of batting is quite eye-catching and more than power hitting his timing is a hallmark of his game.

Jadhav made his first-class debut in the year 2007 against Tamil Nadu and later scored six fifties and a century in the 2008-09 season. The selectors recognized his talent and they kept a close watch on him. In 2011, he was picked by the Kerala franchise but he was back with Delhi in 2012. Though he was sidelined in a few matches, his side had belief in his abilities. In the 2014 season, his franchise bid aggressively for him to ward off the competition. He played some handy knocks lower done the order to repay their faith. His prolific run scoring in the 2013-14 Ranji season was the reason he came into the limelight. He scored 1223 runs in 11 games and emerged as the top run-getter in the entire season.

Though he performed consistently at the domestic level, a national call-up eluded him. He kept on pushing for a place and eventually, he was rewarded. He made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in November, 2015. After that, India sent a second string side to Zimbabwe for a 3-match ODI series and that is where he flourished. He scored a brilliant unbeaten century to help India's cause. To follow it up, he was even more impressive against England at his home ground, Pune. His lightning 120 off 76 balls thoroughly impressed the cricket lovers and helped him cement his place in the regular middle order. Apart from being a bright prospect with the bat, he is a decent part-time off spinner as well and is often considered to have the golden-arm. With plenty of competition around, he will look to polish his stroke play even more and keep his spot in tact!
