Profile

A right-handed top order batsman, Tino Mawoyo went on to captain the Zimbabwean Under-19 team in the 2003-04 World Cup, and since then, has been on the fringes of the national team.

Mawoyo made his ODI debut against Bangladesh in 2006, but did not show enough potential and was eventually dropped from the World Cup side in 2007. However, he was a strong player in the domestic arena. A cog in the Easterns side, Mawoyo helped his side clinch a double in 2006-07. A talented batsman, he has been one of the most impressive cricketers in the Zimbabwean team.
