A right-handed batsman and an occasional medium-pacer, Temba Bavuma made his first-class debut for Gauteng in 2008 against the Easterns. He was also a part of their Under-19 team, along with representing South Africa A and the U-19 side. Bavuma represents the Highveld Lions in the domestic T20 circuit and was named in their Champions League T20 squad.
