Profile

The tall and lanky fast bowler from New South Wales has been the best thing to happen to Australia since Glenn McGrath. Many compare him to the Australian great for his accurate line and length. He first came into limelight after his Man of the Series performance in South Africa. He cemented his place in the Test squad after being named the Bowler of the Series in Australia's 5-0 drubbing of England in the Ashes series. Clark makes good use of his height and has the potential to generate bounce from any wicket. His nagging accuracy and consistency help him fetch wickets at regular intervals. Despite his superb Test performance, Clark is yet to prove his worth in ODI cricket. The Sydney-born cricketer fails to maintain the same consistency with the ball as in Tests in the limited version of the game. The slight-built seamer now holds the responsibility along with Lee to shoulder the Aussie pace attack.
