Profile

Sridharan Sriram started off as a left-arm spinner and made a mark by claiming 29 wickets during India's U-19 tour to South Africa in 1992-93. But, he emerged as a batsman after he became only the third cricketer to score 1000 runs in a domestic season. Although he failed to click in the One day Internationals, he has been consistent at the domestic level.

He participated in the rebel league, but quit in 2009 after accepting BCCI’s amnesty and joined the IPL a year later, where he was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore. In 2011, he was signed by the Delhi Daredevils.
