Profile

Samiullah Shenwari is a legbreak bowler and a right-hand batsman from Afghanistan who made his first-class debut against Zimbabwe XI in August 2009. Shenwari was a part of Afghanistan side that was promoted to Division Two, which allowed them to take part in the ICC World 2009 Qualifiers and gained ODI status. He made his ODI debut against Scotland at Benoni in April 2009. He also played for Afghan Cheetahs team in the Faysal Bank Twenty20 Cup 2011/12. In 2012, Shenwari was included in the T20I squad for the World Twenty20 in Sri Lanka.
