Nicknamed Rowie, Rowan Richards is a talented left-arm-fast medium bowler. He burst on to the cricketing scene in 2005 with a five-for in his debut first-class match playing for Border against the Eastern Province. A few days later he made another impressive debut but this time in the List A where he ended up with disciplined figures of 2/18 from 6 overs against the same opposition. Richards plays for Titans in their domestic T20 competition and was named in the squad for the 2012 Champions League T20.
