Profile
Tall, lanky and elegant are the terms that you can firmly associate with Sri Lankan Michael Vandort. The 6 feet 5 inches left-hander had a good start to his international career as he smashed a ton against Bangladesh in just his second Test. He then waited three-and-half-years before reclaiming a spot in the Lankan squad. Vandort is predominantly strong off the front foot, through both, the off-side and leg-side. He is rated highly as a slip fieldsman but is slow in the field, a weakness that persists to limit his opportunities in the limited-overs game.
