Matt Johnston is an all-rounder who made his first-class debut for Queensland in 2010. With his List A debut way back in 2007 for Western Australia he experienced a season of pleasure and pain due to a wayward throw that struck his face while he was running between the wickets against South Australia. This blow couldn’t keep him calm for long and he bounced back with a steady and impressive 44 against Queensland. He has previously played for Western Australia, Hobart Hurricanes and Tasmania.
