As Luke Ronchi looks to battle it out with Brad Haddin for the coveted spot of Gilchrist's position behind the stumps for Australia, his bat continues to do the talking. Ronchi is known to score runs, and quickly. In 2007, he broke the record for the fastest domestic century in Australian cricket when he achieved this milestone in just 56 balls. Later that year he scored another century, this time of 51 balls. He made his national ODI debut as a result of Brad Haddin's injury and performed well in his first tour to the West Indies where he equaled the record for the second-fastest fifty in only his fourth ODI.
