Profile
Born in Punjab, Karan Goel is a left-handed top-order batsman and a right-arm off spinner who made his first-class debut against Haryana in 2005. He started playing cricket at an early age, representing Punjab in all their age-group sides. Karan then broke into the senior state side in the 2005-06 season.
Karan went on to make his first Twenty20 appearance in 2007, which also came co-incidentally against Haryana. He has been relatively successful in the shorter formats and was a part of the Kings XI Punjab franchise in the inaugural edition of the IPL, in 2008.
