Profile
A capable batsman and an athletic fielder, James Adams represented England at the Under-15 and Under-19 levels, before making his first-class debut for Hampshire in 2002. But his debut century came when he captained the Loughborough University in 2003. In 2006, his unbeaten knock of 168 saw Hampshire clinching a surprise win over Yorkshire at Headingly.
