Profile

A young quickie from Jamaica who can bowl out-and-out fast, Jerome Taylor is a great future bowling prospect for West Indies. Jerome Taylor was just 18 years old, with a lone one-day match for Jamaica under his belt, when he was called into the West Indies squad for the final match of their series against Sri Lanka in June 2003.He established himself in the 2006 DLF Cup in Malaysia, and backed his performance with a hat-trick to lead his nation to an impressive victory over Australia in the Champions Trophy. With the potential to rip through any batting order, young Taylor holds the responsibility to spearhead a young Windies pace attack in the new generation.
