Profile

Dishant Yagnik, a left-handed batsman and wicket keeper hails from the tribal belt of Banswara in Southern Rajasthan. He made his first-class debut in 2004-05 for Rajasthan. He was also the highest run-getter for his state in limited overs in the 2010-11 season.

Yagnik is best remembered for his last ball six off Sourav Ganguly in a Deodhar Trophy match in Jaipur in 2006. He also participated in the rebel league, but quit later and joined the IPL. He was signed by the Rajasthan in 2011.
