Profile
Dhawal Kulkarni is a right-arm medium pacer who first made headlines for his performance in Mumbai U-17s Vijay Merchant Trophy, 2005-06. In his first Ranji season, he emerged as the most successful bowler claiming 42 wickets. He kept up with his good work in U- 19 state matches which bagged him a spot in the India U-19 tour of Sri Lanka in 2007. With his gallant form in Sri Lanka, he earned a place into the Mumbai Ranji Squad.
Early breakthroughs being his speciality, it earned him a place in the Test squad for the tour of New Zealand in 2009. However, he did not play in any of those matches. Later, he was signed by the Mumbai for its IPL team.
