Profile
Born in Essex, Christopher Jones rose through the ranks of Dorset, representing it's U13 and U15 sides. He later moved to Durham and played for the Durham MCCU.
A right-handed batsman, Jones first played for Somerset's second eleven in 2008, and went on to enjoy two successful seasons in the following years. He was also Somerset's leading run-scorer in the 2009 Championship. He spent the 2009-10 winter playing cricket in Australia and returned to make his first-class debut for the senior side , replacing Craig Kieswetter against Lancashire in Taunton. Jones was also a late inclusion in the side for the Champions League T20 in 2011, held in India.
