Profile

With the ability to bowl at a pace of 140 kph, tall Australian seamer Ben Hilfenhaus is a valuable future fast bowling prospect. It has been a fast ride for the Tasmanian pacer as he made his debut for Australia within only two years of domestic cricket. The Tasmanian bowler impressed one and all in his debut ODI against New Zealand. The strongly-built fast bowler can bowl out-and-out quick and trouble the best of the batsmen with quick short deliveries. He has been in the scheme of things for Australia but a consistent performance at the domestic level will help him feature more in the national side. Australia are very fortunate to have a strong bench strength and Hilfenhaus is certainly one to watch out for.
