Profile
A replica of his father, Anirudha Srikkanth, debuted his first class season in the year 2003-2004 for Tamil Nadu. In the following seasons, he was on the fringes of the team but displayed a good performance in the limited-overs format. In 2004-05 he topped the batting charts for India U-19s against visitors England Under-19s. He was often compared to his father Kris Srikkanth for his attacking batting.
His record of becoming the fourth highest run-getter in the inter-state Twenty20 of 2007 bagged him a place in the 30 probables for the ICC World Twenty20 in 2007-2008. He was also a part of the India Greens team in the Challenger Trophy of 2007-08.
Later, he was signed by the Chennai for the IPL in 2008.
