Anand Rajan is a right-hand batsman and a right-arm medium pacer from Nagpur who represented Madhya Pradesh in first-class cricket. He made his debut in the year 2005 against Jharkhand. He has also represented the Indian Under-19 team. He contributed heavily to his team’s Ranji Trophy quarter-final charge in the 2010-11 season. He was also the second highest wicket-taker for his team in the Ranji Trophy Plate league in the same season.
Rajan was roped in by the Hyderabad, formerly known as Hyderabad for the fourth season of the IPL in 2011.
