Profile
Albert Van Der Merwe, a tall off-spinning all-rounder was born in South Africa. After a spectacular bowling effort for his domestic side, he was called up to the Irish national side where he made his List-A debut against West Indies A. Van Der Merwe made his international debut against Netherlands when he was part of the 2010 ICC World Cricket League Division One winning squad. He was also part of the Irish squad for the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup but was unfortunate not to play in the tournament.
