Alankara Asanka Silva is a right-arm offbreak bowler who also bats right-handed. He made his first-class debut for the Badureliya Sports Club in 2005 and impressed with two wickets. He has become one of the most economical and consistent bowlers on the first-class circuit. Silva then made his Twenty20 debut for the Sebastianites Cricket and Athletic Club in 2007.
