Abu Nechim is a renowned bowler from Assam and has represented India at the U-19 level. He got into limelight post his six-wicket haul giving away 9 runs against Bangladesh in the U-19 Tri-Nation Tournament.

His speciality of consistently bowling at a pace of 140 kph made people draw parallel comparisons between him and Ajit Agarkar.
