A woman was allegedly killed by his husband in Bhitevad village in Amritsar on Wednesday. The accused Prakash Singh killed his wife Ranjeet Kaur, who was going to the court for a hearing in the dowry case. The victim was on her way with his 4-year-old son to court, when her husband killed her with the revolver and ran away taking his son. According to family members, Ranjeet had started staying away from his husband due to the harassment she used to suffer because of the dowry.rn
