Bollywood actor, Aamir Khan today said that the ban on controversial spy thriller film, 'Vishwaroopam' should be lifted as the country's censor board had already cleared the movie for release. Addressing media persons in Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, the perfectionist said that India is a democratic country and if the censor board has cleared a particular movie it should be released. Some Muslim groups have been protesting against the release of the film, raising objections over what they believe is the depiction of their community in a negative light. The Tamil Nadu government had suspended the film's screening on January 23rd. less
