Union Minister Vayalar Ravi has sparked a fresh row by threatening a female journalist who was asking him for his reaction on Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha PJ Kurien's alleged involvement in Suryanelli gang rape case. According to reports, the Union Minister made very personal and sexist remarks at a female reporter. Ravi was also caught on camera making a personal swipe at a female reporter over the Suryanelli gang rape case. Ravi is seen asking the reporter if she has had a personal problem with Kurien in the video. Meanwhile, women journalists in Kerala expressed outrage and staged protests, following which Vayalar Ravi apologized to the reporter.
