Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader KT Rama Rao today threatened to intensify the agitation if the government refused to grant separate Telangana state. Earlier in the day, hundreds of students clashed with police personnel and courted arrest during a rally in Hyderabad against the delay in formation of Telangana. The Congress led UPA government had declared on December 28, 2012 that the issue would be resolved within a month. The chances of an immediate resolution, paving the way for the formation of Telangana appears slim, as most politicians are divided within their own respective parties on this issue.
