A 17 year old adventure enthusiast Ikramul Hasan Shakeel from Bangladesh commenced over 400 miles journey from press club of Kolkata in India, to Dhaka in a bid to promote regional language 'Bengali'. The motive behind the walk was to spread awareness about the language, which is shared by the people of both Kolkata and Bangladesh. The organizer, T.K Sengupta, said these types of initiatives would also help in promoting more adventure tourism and would also attract more youth towards the sports.
